Annual Events:
These events happen almost every year!

Older American’s Day:

May has been designated as Older Americans Month. This is a special time to show respect, care, and love for all the older Americans in our life. Each year Justin Potter Library hosts “Older American’s Day.” It is a day filled with fun, prizes, education information, and special guest speakers. See you there!

Summer Reading:

Every June, we have a themed summer reading program, which is open to children of all ages. Weekly story times, entertainment, prizes, and a big finale party! This year the theme is “All Together Now!” and that means we’ll be celebrating teamwork, friendship and coming together as a community. Come and join the fun this year!

Christmas on the Square:

Join the whole community during December to start off the holiday season. Christmas on the Square typically consists of the Christmas Parade, with Santa riding into town, and a big Christmas Party hosted by almost every business in town. If you visit Justin Potter Library during this time, you’ll be able to meet and greet with Santa, as well as have photos taken with the whole family!

Halloween Boo-Bash:

A very spooktacular event held every October! Trick-or-Treating is done in the town square, with many of the businesses and county buildings decorating and dressing up to entertain the kid of all ages! Come visit Justin Potter library to snag a yummy treat and take photos with the characters!
