Books and Audiobooks :
Our collection contains over 20,000 books and 1,500 audiobook. We also reserve items for patrons and can even order books from other libraries through the Interlibrary Loan System if we don't have what you're looking for!
DVD and Blu-ray :
Our popular collection of DVDs consists of current movies, classics, and educational videos. There are currently over 1,500 DVDs for both adults and youth to enjoy. Check out our display of New Movies when you come in visit to see what hot!
Magazines and Newspapers :
We carry both the Smithville Review(back issues available) and The Tennessean. Our Magazine Section has over 30 titles, with a wide variety of magazines for adults, teens, and children.
Electronic Media :
Our patrons have access to over 100,000 eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines through the Regional eBook and Audio Download System (READS), using the app LIBBY. If you need help setting up, just contact your local library for help!
Computer and Internet Access :
Our public computers are free to use, have Microsoft Office Programs and hundreds of Online Databases. All this and more are available to help meet the needs of the library user.

Justin Potter Library also offers AWE Early Literacy Computers for children 2-8 (English and Spanish versions available) with over 60 educational games and activities.

Free Wireless Internet is also available to library visitors using mobile devices and laptops with Wi-Fi capability.
History and Genealogy Services
There’s no better place to share your family tree or uncover
the past than the library! Both Libraries have a collection of genealogical and
historical materials for the local area. Library visitors are free to use the Genealogy
